As the word dragonfly dwelling implies, these are flying sky dwellings that travel everywhere on the earth; the dragonfly vehicles of the sky are shaped like dragonflies. The fleets of these dwelling ships travel to their destinations in vast formations. When the wings of the dragonfly-shaped dwellings flap its wings, it’s like a propeller. It’s a ship, but a dwelling like bird homes; they fly at high speeds. In these dwellings, there are places to live, areas for storage, sleeping, and machine places for the tiny engines that make it travel through the sky. Riding on a dragonfly dwelling is like sailing on a smooth ocean without much turbulence. People live in them all their lives, and many of the dragonfly ships land on the ground residing there for a long while until it’s time to depart into the sky. These are not ships for transportation. They are for a living. They are flying homes. Dragonfly dwellings are not a copy of nature’s ones; the shape is similar, and the back areas are used for storage and living. Of course, there are engines in the back, but sometimes, there are no engines; the owner’s thoughts are used to propel the ship through the sky; they keep real dragonflies in containers with an ideal environment for them, and they are considered good luck. They have and had sculptures of dragonflies. Dragonflies are also cultivated as pets.
The people who live in dragonfly dwellings are interested in insects, especially dragonflies. When designing their dwellings these people use insects as an inspiration. Every area of the natural insect is studied and used to develop new pads. The dragonfly was the best inspiration for a home in terms of living space and everything else. The dragonfly’s abdomen is a sphere, and the area corresponding to the thorax is cube-like or spheroid. The frontal area is the control area for navigating, where the compound eyes are the ship’s windows. The dragonfly home doesn’t always have to be driven. It seems to have a mind of its own. It’s not a robot; it travels independently without being forced.
The dragonfly dwellings are composed of a material that seems to resemble something translucent, yet it looks light; again, the material is almost like a diamond. It seems like this material can’t be destroyed. What does this mean? It is an excellent protection from the elements and things that would gradually deteriorate over time.
On a very sunny day in the morning, above the clouds during a storm, the sky was calm as a morning star; star-like reflections on the windows of the dragonfly dwellings created mesmerizing lights of star patterns. This is the advantage of living in a dragonfly dwelling; it can travel above the clouds into the calm sunny skies.
Beds slide out from the walls, and the other furniture seems to be part of the floor or walls, but the seats on the floor can be moved around. There is free furniture, but nothing slides around when the dragonfly home travels through a storm; the anchor-free table can be magnetized to the floor of the dragonfly dwelling, kept in place by an actual magnetic force, and nothing falls or come apart as it jumps around the sky.
Comfort is part of the dragonfly dwellings; plants are around to cultivate things to eat, mainly fruits and vegetables.
Dragonfly dwellings were built to stay up in the air, rarely do they come down. When they need something, they pick it up by cable with a sphere-like structure, where the purchased goods are packed up and lifted. Arrangements in advance had been made as to the monetary exchange.
A place where the dragonfly dwelling goes when they vanish from the world, a gate opens in a storm area so ferocious that none could live in the vicinity. When these gates open, it is as if someone cut a piece from the sky, and it opens like a wooden gate into a peaceful world where the dragonfly dwellings, atmosphere, and ocean are one.
