Insect machines build structures with the help of humans directing them. Humans guide them to land in a specific area. Once the giant bio-robotic insect lands on a building, a thick, goopy liquid is excreted from its mechanical thorax. It’s spread on the floors. Workers wear rainbow wings on their jackets to attract the insect machines. Color is the language of the insects: black, white, scarlet, red, and greenish-blue in all possible combinations. They resembled hornets; there were other forms, ones resembling a cross between and dirigible and a honey bee. Various techniques were used for specialties in the crafting of things. 

Many cultures exist among the Sivol; these people don’t live in trees. Artificial trees are their thing. Why are bio-robotic machines resembling insects? Simple, the Sivol is in one with nature. Traveling through the air is convenient, with hundreds of obstructions on the ground. Unique builders construct insect machines requiring years of training. Bio and mechanical parts were crafted in places with deep pools of chemicals. Assembly wasn’t necessary. The parts merged or grew together, and once the body was ready, wings, legs, antennae, and eyes sprouted naturally. These mechanical insects were used as beasts of burden and workers. 

Life with such bio-machines improved the lives of Sivol. Workmen became natural companions to these created life forms.
